Key Elements:
- If you are offsite, you must be VPN'd in to connect to OnePlan from MS Project.

First Time Publishing Your Schedule to OnePlan
If this is your first time publishing your project schedule to OnePlan, a Plan/Project in OnePlan must already exist as the destination for your schedule. You will not be able to create a OnePlan project from MS Project.
- Open MS Project.
- Open your schedule file from MS Project directly from your synchronized folder. To learn how to store, synchronize, and access files, reference this article: File Storage and Access for MS Project MPP Files
3. Make any necessary changes to your project file, and Save. Use the Save button, not Save As.
4. On the OnePlan tab of the ribbon, click Publish.
4. A OnePlan URL dialog box will appear. The default selection will be my.oneplan.ai. Click the Select button.
5. Click the Sign in with Microsoft button.
6. Sign in with your BD account and click Next
7. Select RD OnePlan and click Ok
8. Search for the project in OnePlan that you want to publish the schedule to. Select the project name and click Ok
9. Wait for the resource mapping page to show up, then click Publish. It could take a minute for this dialogue box to appear.
10. Once your publish has begun, a OnePlan Publish dialogue box will appear. Click OK
11. To check your publish status, click on the Publish Info button
12. When the publish completes, navigate to OnePlan, refresh the Work Plan page, and confirm the publish was successful.
If you ever experience a network issue or just have difficulty, you may need to reconnect your schedule.
You can click 'Publish' directly after editing - this will bring you through the connection process again if it is necessary. However, if the connection is unsuccessful, try the following steps:
1. Open the schedule that you want to publish in MS Projects.
Click the OnePlan tab and select "Connect"
2. Select Sign in with Microsoft
3. Select your own account and put in password to log in. If your account does not appear, simply sign in with your BD account.
4. Select Yes
5. Select RD OnePlan, and wait the select plan view to pop up.
6. Type in the project name and select it.
7. If your MS Project file is the most up-to-date version of your schedule, you will want to overwrite what is in OnePlan. Select "Yes" to Delete Existing Tasks in OnePlan." If you simply want to add these tasks into OnePlan. select No.
8. MS Project should connect with OnePlan successfully, and a popup will appear. Click OK.
9. Select Publish and wait for the Map Resources window to open.
10. Select Publish.
11. A OnePlan Publish dialogue will appear. Click OK.
12. Click Publish Info can help you to track whether the publish finish yet or not.
13. When the publish completes, navigate to OnePlan, refresh the Work Plan page, and confirm the publish was successful.
