This article explains how to create and save baselines in Work Plan – Schedule.
Save Your Changes
When you open the Work Plan – List page - Schedule, and finish editing your tasks, you must save changes first. You will get a warning if you don’t save changes before baselining.
Save the Baseline
Once you’ve saved changes, click on the "...", and then select “Save Baseline”
Choose your Baseline Method: either All Tasks or Selected Tasks.
Select which Baseline to save. There are total 11 Baseline available in OnePlan. Baseline 0 is considered the standard, variance-calculation baseline for all built-in OnePlan reports, but your team can use whichever baseline you wish!
Some options might include saving Baseline 0, then Baseline 1. Then the next (2nd) time you need to re-baseline, you save Baseline 0 again, then Baseline 2, so that 1 would retain your original project baseline. This is really up to your team to determine the best baselining process to be used.
