Accessing OnePlan For the First Time

If you are just getting started with OnePlan and this is the first time you're accessing, you might not even know where to start! We highly recommend you go to the Training Recording area to watch the general training videos about OnePlan.

This article explains the main navigation icons and menus in OnePlan.

Navigating to OnePlan

To access OnePlan, simply navigate your browser to my.oneplan.ai. If you see a login screen, select the "Login with Microsoft" button on the bottom of that popup window. With this, OnePlan will use your organizational credentials to allow access.

If this is the first time you've ever accessed OnePlan, you will be brought to a Welcome to OnePlan screen as shown below. If you've accessed OnePlan before, you'll be brought to the last page you accessed. 

Navigating the OnePlan Top Menu

Group Name: Will be the OnePlan group that you are connected to. For BD, the production group is RD OnePlan. If you have access to multiple OnePlan groups, you can use the Group Name dropdown to access groups.

BD Apps: From here, you can quickly access to the customized Import Tools outside of OnePlan. For example, to click in Import App, you can use the excel sheets to import resource plan, financials etc.

Support Site/Help: From here, you can access to the support site (which is the page that you are in now) provided by PPMWorks. This site includes all the general information about OnePlan. You can search for the questions you have about OnePlan and submit tickets if you cannot solve the issue by reading the articles.

Notifications: You will get notifications from OnePlan about the environment updates. Also, if notification features turn on, you will receive notice about the comments from your coworkers.

User Menu: From here, you can see your own information and also you can share OnePlan to other users.

Favourite: Plans that you have marked as a favorite will be listed under the Favorites tab.

Recent : Plans that you have recently accessed will be listed under the Recent tab.

Plan Search : The Global Search Bar is located in the top ribbon of OnePlan, and can be accessed from any page in the application.For more details check below link

Navigating the OnePlan Quick Launch Menu

The main navigation icons are along the left side of the screen. You may see some or all of these icons based on which apps or features have been added to your OnePlan group/environment. Each permission group is able to access different features.

Click an icon on the left-hand side to open that page.

Home - Overall View

If you want to learn more about the Home Page, this section will provide you more information: Home page

My Work - Where you can see your assigned projects and submit status updates

Timesheet - Timesheets Entry features as a Team Member, tracking time on plans

My Portfolio - Central location for all Portfolios, Programs, and Projects

You will only see your own BU’s Projects. If you did not see anything on your page, please reach out to your BU lead. The projects might not shared with you yet.

Overall Resource Plan - Plan-level and organization-wide resource planning capabilities.

This area will only show for users with Admin and Manager Global User Permission Group.

Resource Center - Manage a pool of resource
