Resources Plan - Data Import Instructions

NOTE: Please use Save as for the document! Don’t edit directly on the template! 

Project Name/Plan Id: If the project already exists in OnePlan, use the Plan Id; if the project has not yet been imported into OnePlan, please create the project into OnePlan first.   

Cost Type: Current / ASR / Jul Budget / Oct Rcl Budget / Proj 1 / Proj 2 / Proj 3 etc.  

Employee Id: Put in Employee Id (only for Named Resources, not for Generic Resources) 

Generic Resources Name: You do not need to fill in the Employee ID; only fill in the Generic Resource Names that match with the Generic Resources in OnePlan. If you are unsure about the Generic Resource Name, please navigate to OnePlan Resource Center, select 'View to Generics,' and then filter by Business Unit/Group to your own BU. 

Fiscal Year: Put in the Fiscal Year, e.g. 2024 or 2025… 

Month 1 – 12: Put in Resources allocation in FTE 

Note: You can choose whether to clear existing data in OnePlan for those projects or not. 

The updated version of the import app can send notifications to your email regarding the import progress. For large files, the process might take longer, so you will receive email notifications when the import is complete.

Note: If there is incorrect information in the import file, the app will display error messages. For example, if there is no project named 'zz Test Plan Import 1' in BDB, you can go back and correct the inaccurate information.
