- 1. Open Import App

2. Download the import template from Import App.
NOTE: Once the excel template opens, YOU MUST SAVEAs a copy and use that copy for the import tool. DO NOT EDIT THE TEMPLATE DIRECTLY!

3. Save a copy of the template: File -> Save a Copy -> To your own PC

4. Prepare the Project Details Import File:
Project Name/Plan Id: If the project already exists in OnePlan, use the Plan Id; if the project has not yet been imported into OnePlan, please enter the New Project Name.
Top Level Portfolio: Specify the highest level of the hierarchy to which the project will belong.
Note: If you want to import a new Portfolio, which is the highest level, leave the Top Level Portfolio blank.
Parent Name: Put in the name of the level above the project (Platform/Program etc.)
Plan Type: Plan Types are the Plan Hierarchies. You can check in OnePlan for the Plan Types you want for your project.
All the rest of the fields: Follow the instructions above each of the highlighted color areas.
NOTE: For your convenience, you can hide the fields not needed.

5. Navigate back to R&D OnePlan Import PowerApp

6. Select the BU/Group and Excel file (this is the file you saved in step 3 above) then Click the Import Selected File button
NOTE: If you want to import new projects which not existing in OnePlan, select "Add New Projects" icon.

7. Launch OnePlan to confirm the Project Details were successfully imported into OnePlan
- 8. Close the R&D OnePlan Import app
Import Success email will send to your BD email account.
